Je me suis souvenu du temps où la photographie argentique se résumait à des petites cartes contenant une image en transparence en son centre : la diapositive. Que ce soit en famille ou dans des entreprises, on montrait ses photos lors de séances de projection de diapositives. C'était convivial ou très sérieux, mais toujours, pour pouvoir faire passer son message, il fallait se retrouver dans une même pièce. C'était ce qu'il me fallait. Un diaporama.

I remembered the days when analog photography came down to small cards holding a transparent image at their centre: the slide. Whether with family or in companies, you showed your photos at slide projection evenings. It was convivial or very serious, but always, to get your message across, you had to gather in the same room. That was what I needed. A slide show.

For some, this slide show was the occasion to share an evening around fixed-gear culture. The only thing that matters to me when sharing my work is to do it by meeting—truly meeting—each other. Today this slide show is available for free, and that is as it should be.
